Somewhat of a schoolwear attire vibe going on here. I think my upcoming exams have made an impact on not only the way I think and divide my time, but the way I dress too. They're starting tomorrow morning and will be on for a week. A week filled with stress, pulling all-nighters studying Spanish and possibly stuffing myself with fruit smoothies while listening to lounge jazz (yeah, that went specific-overboard). It'll be over before I know it. Fingers crossed!
So plaid's still in the scene. I haven't gotten rid of my checkered clothes, as I still like the trend, the somehow cozy yet rebellious feel of it. Especially when worn with shapeless, maxi sweaters like I did above, I feel like it has that "I'm wearing a part of my uniform but I really don't care" vibe. Maybe it's just me.

Golden eye

Knuckle rings c/o Galisfly.com, Trousers c/o Samydress.com, shoes c/o Shelikes.com, bag & sunglasses c/o Chicwish.com

Walking around the irregular city street tiles with heel-less shoes was a bit of a struggle, I must admit. Thing is, I couldn't afford to tone down this look more than I did by wearing these simple black trousers and shirt (at least this one has puffy victorian queen kind of sleeves to make up for its basicity). These baroque sunglasses are the best thing that happened to my eyes this summer, same goes for the vintage scarf; in fact, we should take a minute to admire these two beauties, shall we?

New in

clutch c/o Chicwish.com
I've been on the hunt for a perfect clutch for a relatively long time now, and got my hands on this one (technically got the clutch in my hands), at last. It's plain black, no studs, no additional details. Black leather is basic and sophisticated, it matches everything. The wallpaper-printed garment (from Motel) I wore in the photo above will soon be featured in a full outfit post!
Aside from lusting after handbags, I've been watching a lot of movies... mostly ones starring Jesse Eisenberg. (there's something about the quirky, dorky & awkward characters he plays that makes-- or would make-- him jump right on top of my celebrity crush list, if I had one). I'm in Lithuania, the weather has been anything but blazy for the past few days, therefore I've barely got anything else to do beside watch cinematics- so that's what I've been up to lately.

Blooming darkness

Baroque print skirt c/o Banggood.com, lace detail blouse c/o Zlz.com , handbag c/o Chicwish.com

Flowers in my neighborhood have had enough time to bloom and wither since the last time I've updated my blog. That's a bad habit I have- spending a lot of time on my computer, but not blogging. However, it's summer and we all know that summer means more fun activities, therefore more posts. I came back from London last week with a bunch of great memories and a group of new amazing friends. I'm really considering applying for CSM when I'm done with high school, if it's anything like the short course I attended.

Onto a completely different subject, you might've noticed that as of last month, I'm wearing more purple lipstick than my beloved burgundy one. I love the kind of dark edge it gives to any outfit. The skirt is from Banggood, I couldn't get my eyes off the fresco print it has. This handbag with zippers on the sides is my favorite one right now; I usually wear bags with long handles, but I couldn't get my eyes off this bad boy. It makes me feel like I want to make a what's-in-my-bag post, though my phone and iPod are really all there is (aside from some useless papers, lipstick and pens that don't work anymore).

PS: The winner of my sheinside.com giveaway is Anja Heltberg, congratulations :) You will soon receive an e-mail from the Sheinside staff with all the details and I hope you'll enjoy your shopping spree!

The end comes too soon

Baroque sequin sweater c/o Chicwish.comshoes - h&m

Baroque. The trend has been going around for a while now (thank you Dolce & Gabanna for making it explode in 2011), and I know that I haven't been sporting a lot of it, but truth is I might just as well be the biggest baroque-maniac out there. I'm all about black and gold, swirly prints and embroidered clothing, which is why I was hysterical when I opened up my package from Chicwish.com and saw this beautiful sweater. They've got loads more of a-ma-zing baroque-like items that demand to be checked out, so head over to their website for more!

Big city dream

sweater c/o chicwish.com, crochet shorts c/o chicnova.com

I broke a frame earlier today. Now I'm not a superstitious person and I don't believe in the whole good luck bad luck thing, but something really cool happened today after I cleaned the shattered glass. I found out I don't have to go to school for the rest of the week. I wasn't in school today or Monday, because there was a gas leak in school, and it just got better! Plus, the week after this one, I'm on official carnival holidays, so this makes it two weeks of holiday instead of one. Thing is, I have nothing planned, so I'll probably spend those two days in my room, doing absolutely nothing but drawing, watching movies and activities of the same genre.
This outfit's really comfy, I wore it a couple of weeks ago when there still was snow, as you can obviously see. The sweater's from chicwish.com, they have the best knitted garments, and the shorts are from chicnova.com! Both are great stores that I definitely recommend. Now have a good rest of the day, everyone! I haven't been up to much, but I'm tired as hell!

No mercy

plaid skirt c/o chicwish.com, thrifted denim jacket, creepers c/o sheinside.com

Hey guys! OK, so today I'm here with what must be one of my favorite outfits on this blog so far, I think. I'm absolutely crazy about plaid skirts, so my reaction when I saw this one was.. um, not even something I'll try to explain. I am loving it so much, it's from chicwish.com! Paired it with my denim jacket for a somewhat 90's inspired grunge look. It's a bit cold to wear crop tops now, so I'm already waiting for the sun to come out, I have no patience ahah.
I did well on my exams (except chemistry, oh god why), so now I'm relaxing and am looking forward to a little trip I'll be going on with my art class in two weeks. We'll be visiting Cologne in Germany to see
modern art exhibition. I'm totally excited about that! There's not much else going on in my life right now apart from that and catching up with series that released new episodes the other day. That's pretty much it! I've got some more outfits to share with you dolls, I hope you'll like them :)

BY THE WAY, make sure you go to Gigi Vintage and get yourself something nice with a discount of 10% off your purchases by typing in the code FASHIONWHIT10 :) It's my little New Year's gift for all of you who read my blog, I really appreciate your support <3
