TALL SILHOUETTES

Blazer c/o Sammydress.com, clutch c/o Banggood.com, coat c/o Sheinside.com, shoes c/o

Sipping green tea while resting on your furry bed cover, looking up to the chandelier hanging from the ceiling, knowing that you've got no worries for the upcoming two weeks, how does that sound? I love Christmas holidays. Even without a single snowflake in the sky or on the roofs of the cars in the driveway, it feels special. Everything seems at least a thousand times more cozy and everyone radiates with warmth and kindness, what's there not to enjoy?
Now I know that the most common Christmas colors are red, green and white, but eventually I've decided to take a risk and go for colder tones at this time of the year. Compensating the sharpness of it all with a long-coat (I've been wearing a lot of these too, lately).
I'll also take the time to wish all of you a Merry Christmas! I hope you're all going to enjoy your time with the family, because that is what counts the most after all- being together. Cheers!

SAPPHIRE EMPIRE

Dress c/o Sheinside.com, vintage coat, shoes c/o Shelikes.com
I'm torn. Is it the winter blues that is making me lean towards all these shades of blue or should I seek for another reason? This indigo/sapphire blue is rapidly turning into my favorite color this season and I'm impatient to wear as much of it as possible. This dress I wore reminded me of the one in the Fall 2013 Valentino campaign (which, by the way, I am still obsessing over) and I had to get my hands on it. I've recently been gazing at Valentino, A.McQueen and Dolce&Gabbana collections (again) and drooling over the abondance of detail in each piece of their garments. I feel like making something very baroque after all this inspirational time I've spent browsing through magazines, designer biography books and albums as well as fashion websites. That pretty much sums up my recent free-time activities. That, and sketchbook-filling, sketching, sewing while listening to Vivaldi and Bach. Oh, life.

'till it's over

faux fur- Essentiel, t-shirt c/o Sheinside.com, leggings c/o Sandyshop, chunky platform booties c/o Sammydress.com

The exams are written, school is over for this year and I am finally free to do whatever I feel like doing without having to care about not having time to do homework or whatever you'd associate with school. I've got some rad plans for summer, starting with a trip to London- I'm going there tomorrow and I'll be staying for a week. Needless to say I am super excited and thrilled to be leaving my room for a major change of scenery that I need so much.
Let's also take the time to appreciate how grand these leggings are. That mesh cut-out with that golden zipper... damn. A huge thanks goes out to Sandyshop for hookin' me up with a pair of these.

Electric soul

 baroque embroidered shorts c/o Sheinside.com, boots c/o Sammydress.com

Back to baroque; I told you I'd be sporting this trend around for a while. Black and gold must be my ultimate duo of colors, always has been, too. These velvet embroidered shorts, though... they're also following the D&G collection from a couple years ago, but I'm still utterly in love with them. I got these from She Inside. The chunky boots are another new add to my shoe closet, these are super comfy and definitely rad in pretty much every existent way. I wore them to meet Facehunter the other day, had a fun time at his book launch party!

Make sure you check out my Youtube channel, I may or may not be uploading something there soon...

THE LIGHT'S SHINING THROUGH ON YOU

cardigan c/o Awwdore.comh&m shorts + top, Sheinside.com creepers

I'm caught in a hectic world right now- preparing mine and my friend's collection for the school's fashion show, keeping up with school work and managing to watch Survivor when I get a moment to catch my breath and cool off a little. I've taken up some unalike activities to the ones I was used to, lately. I've been drawing and sketching a lot, assembling folders of inspiration, burying myself in books about great creators in  the Art&Fashion industries (I'm currently hung up on Alexander McQueen and Salvador Dali's biographies; as you may know by know, these two are beyond any doubt a couple of my most cherished creators of all
time), I've been thinking about internships I could do, courses I could attend etc. I'm trying to initiate plans for summer'13 in order to make it an interesting one, as well as make it expand my knowledge in some way. I'd love to attend a fashion-related course at CSM during the summer, yet I still don't know how that'll turn out. I'm hoping for the best, but I do realize that it's a bit too early to be fantasizing about something that is still so far away!

Moonlight bloom

Cross printed leggings c/o Sheinside.com, sunglasses c/o Daisy Potion, thrifted denim jacket, h&m
Nirvana top

Two weeks into the new year I've come to realize that I can't wait for it to end. Kind of. That's not exactly what you'd call positive thinking, I know! It's not really that I want for it to end before really getting the chance to start, but I want for the time to move a bit faster forward until something like summer. Winter's really not my time of the year, I get anxious and really cannot be bothered to do anything. The weather isn't much of a motivation right now, nor is the snow. Aahhh, I'm so jealous of my older sister right now, as she got on a plane to Singapore earlier today. She'll stay there for six months. SO JEALOUS. I suddenly feel like buying a bus, pimping it up and going on a kick-ass road trip around Europe or the US, if possible.
Who's with me??!
Outfit-wise, this is a look I really like, it's comfortable and is my go-to idea of a look when I can't be bothered to dress up in a more imaginative/creative way. I absolutely need a new pair of creepers, because the ones I've got right now are literally crumbling apart.. Ah.

DON'T FORGET that if you go on Gigi Vintage and use the code FASHIONWHIT10

you'll get a 10%  discount on your purchase!

Moonwitch

leather jacket c/o sheinside.com; h&m skirt, thrifted velvet t-shirt

OMG EMI Y DO U NEVR BLAG ANYMOAR???!!!??
WELL, lemme tell you why. I've been bad- not blogging and all that. BUT EVEN MORE BAD because
I've been procrastinating studying for my exams which are in less than a week. I'm screwed for bio,
chemistry, physics and maths, I'm just not a science person, k??? So anyway, I've got a ton of stuff to do
nowadays (although you may think different because I've gone CRAYZEE on twitter lately...)- sewing for
the school fashion show, "trying" to study-- aka opening my books and closing them after 10 minutes.. I need
help. And until I do actually get help, or at least until I realize that I have got NO FREAKING TIME TO
FOOL AROUND ANYMORE, here's an outfit. I've actually got a few more to post, so I'll be doing that
whenever I take a break from all the learning stuff and reading stuff and stuffzzZz. This briiiiilliant leather
jacket's from sheinside.com, too bad it's kind of too cold for short jackets like this one; and the skirt's from
h&m. I've only worn it a couple of times, but I lav lav laaav it to bits, the print is my fav atm, and I'm using
abreviations of words because I'm in a rush to start studying already. I'M FREAKING OUT. I hate school.

Somewhere in between

leather mini skirt c/o sheinside.com, spiked cap c/o oasap.com, leather jacket from Portobello road,
zara top

Here I am, standing somewhere in the middle of my biker and my baseball-babe personalities (more like in
the middle of the street, if we're talking literally, but who really gives a FORK). Got this awesome spiky cap
from OASAP and I looooooooove it (there will never be enough o's to express my feelings for it) to bits,
each spike of it is so perfect. I've been wanting one for so long, and now that it's a part of my hat collection,
I'm, like, seriously troubled because I don't even know what to wish for anymore.  Same thing goes to this
quilted leather skirt from sheinside.com, it's so versatile, you'll probably see me wearing it wish a lot of
band t-shirts and sweaters, too.
Lately I've been obsessing with glitter, so you'll be seeing a LOT of it in my future posts! Seriously buzzin'.
Must be the fact that Christmas is approaching or something, I'm in my festive mood, getting party-worthy
clothes and all that shiz. Keep your eyes open for some shimmery... stuff. k? :-)
