fashion show experience MMXII

Photos by me and other people from my school (I hope they won't mind!)

Those are pictures taken on Friday, during the day of my school's annual fashion show. This year I

participated as a model, and I can tell you that if you put the stress aside, it was one of the best experiences

in my life. Yes, I have done this two years ago as well, if you remember, but then I was modeling for myself

(I had made three little dresses). The theme of the collection that I was modeling for was all about how

fashion changed throughout the years- from the 50's to the 90's, and I was representing the 80's. I'm talking

big crimped hair, flashy colors, mean girl look, and 'One way or another' playing in the background as I was

walking down the runway. DAYUUM! The other collections were super-fabulous, too, but I'm not sure

whether or not the models would want me to share their faces on the net, so I'm not going to do that. But

you can still enjoy the few backstage photos, and the ones from the show, too.

Next year, I really would love to be a designer at the show, I've been brainstorming for the past couple of

days and came up with some daring/eccentric/ostentatious ideas that I want to bring to life. We'll see what

the future bring us, eh, babez? :-):-)

mail delivery

I just got back home a couple hours ago, and I already feel like I've been here for ages, everything is so

homey. Hence another horrible flight (thanks again, Brussels airlines!) and the carriage of a suitcase that is

probably heavier than myself, I'm feeling great and I'm definitely ready for another school year. Not that I'm

looking forward to it, though. Trying to be positive here! Anyway, as I got back home, waiting for me was a

package. I knew that it was a delivery from asos.com, but I was ever so excited. It's always fun to get big

boxes delivered to your home. What I ordered from their website was a black floppy 70's hat, probably

identical to the one I lost on my last trip to Italy a few months ago. I love the soft fabric that it's made of, it is

definitely one of my favorites; cannot wait to wear it.
