hola barcelona!

I have just arrived at my hotel in Barcelona, Spain. You couldn't imagine how excited I am, as I

love the Spanish culture and the city sounds like it's awesome, from what I've heard. I can't wait to go for a

walk in Gaudi's park, wander around the beach, eat churros and tapas, stare at palmtrees (those are by far

my favorite trees... ever!). This will also be a good opportunity for me to use my Spanish knowledge outside

of school, where I only speak the language with my Spanish teacher. I know I'll be saying "Donde esta ~insert

street/rancom place name here~?" and "Como podemos ir al ~insert random street/random place name

here~?" a lot, as none of us (my mom, sister and I) are very good in orientation. I mean, I usually just follow

my intuition and find the right way , but it's obviously so much easier to simply ask local people for

directions.
